Paranormal Novels
Kissed by a Ghost
Beginning of Chapter 1
Coos Bay, Oregon
Present Day
A woman with strawberry-blond hair, pink cheeks, and red lips was under the covers of his bed looking at him. Who was she? He lived alone and no one should be in his house except him. Reaching out, David Hawkins flipped on the bedside lamp, turned back toward the bed, and took a closer look at the intruder.
The woman pushed herself into a sitting position, leaned back against the wooden headboard, and her fingers idly stroked the top of her burgandy and very sexy nightgown. Her golden-red hair flowed around her shoulders. Gorgeous was not a word he had used too often, perhaps never, but it was an apt description of how she looked.
The woman might be a ghost!
She definitely appear to be intimidating.
But even so, he had better make sure she isn't a ghost!

“Bigfoots don’t exist!” Her boyfriend was acting weird. Tawny turned toward him. "It's a myth."
“That not true.” Josh leaned forward staring at the gravel road. “I saw a one of them monsters when I was boy. She tried to kill me". He gripping the steering wheel so tight his knuckles turned white. Reaching into the back seat of the car, Josh picked up her purse and threw it into her lap.
“Call the police. NOW!” His hand smashed against the steering wheel. “Where the hell is the tow truck? It should have been here by now.”
“Calm down.Get out of the car and call the tow truck company. Find out why they are so late in getting here." She glanced at her watch. It's been more than an hour."
Josh loudly whispered, “There’s a Bigfoot at the other end of the road. He's would like nothing better than to murder me. "I'm leaving.”
Spirit, unlike ghosts, have completely passed into the afterlife. Many believe the difference between a living person and a spirit is that the living are on earth and the spirit is in a paralleled universe. It is believed that spirit often leave signs of their presence, and if ignored, will come to a person in a dream.
For hundreds of years people have tried to communicate with spirits. There are websites selling equipment worldwide for detecting a spirit or ghost. A Spirit Box sells for around $500. The box is used to pick up verbal communications of spirits. They are designed from handheld radios; the part that stops when you hit a particular frequency is disabled. The radio will continually jump from one station to another, often bouncing through one frequency after another in under a few second.
